I am Dustin Bowden and have been building websites since 2001. One thing that I believe makes me stand out from the competition is that I do not do template based design. It is my goal for each and every site that I make reflect what the customer wants and to surpass their expectations. The problem with template based design is that there is usually 50+ other sites out there that look exactly the same. I believe in individuality and personality, and that is reflected in my designs. I am always researching new and better ways to code websites, but I don't believe in just jumping on the bandwagon of the newest thing, I like to test and make sure it will do what it's supposed to do properly before I use it on live sites. I have brainbench certifications in HTML, CSS2, and Javascript, and am proficient in XHTML 1.0, PHP, and AJAX. If given the chance I will do everything in my power to get the job done in a timely manner and to impress you beyond your expectations. Thats about all I have to say here, so check out my portfolio and if you like the work I've done I guarantee you will like what I can do for you.
You may have noticed the newly redesigned site & color scheme if you've visited before, I figured I should tell you about the new site and some of the technologies I used to make it. The site is designed in strict XHTML code and CSS, I always try to code to the strict standards because this helps eliminate cross browser display issues. The intire site is also hand coded, I do not use dreamweaver or any other type of site designer software because they are sloppy at how the code is written and most of them will not code to the strict standards I adhere to. The site also is using AJAX and Javascript pretty heavily in places, all of the pricing calculators are built using AJAX and Javascript. Also there is some use of php, one example of where I used php is on the contact page, once you fill out the form and hit submit I use php to process the form and send me a copy of what was typed in. Anyways that's a little about how this site was made, and a little about my coding/designing methods.
